Strategic Planning Process

The John Cooper School launched its strategic planning project in the fall of 2022. Cooper’s leadership team, in coordination with the Board of Trustees, engaged with several stakeholder groups throughout the process to garner their insights and priorities for the School. Faculty and staff, parents, students, alumni, and community partners shared their perspectives through surveys, focus groups, interviews, and task forces. Their contributions helped shape the pathways for Cooper’s continued progress and inspired five strategic goals to inform the School’s next priorities.  

The result of this process—a new aspirational vision and new strategic goals and objectives—will help set the direction for innovation over the next five years. Rooted in the School’s mission and philosophies, Cooper’s strategic plan incorporates many of the insights we gained from the Cooper community, and reflects a collaborative, inclusive process that will propel Cooper forward on our continued journey from Curiosity to Wisdom.
